DESCRIPTION:

Perfect practice makes perfect. This overnight backpacking class takes place at one of Georgia’s most scenic State Parks. Participants will experience an 8-mile round trip overnight backpacking adventure. Enjoy viewing thousand-foot deep sandstone capped canyons, seasonal waterfalls, cascading creeks, and nature's best woodland flora and fauna.

Along the way, participants will “perfectly” practice packing a backpack, setting up camp, filtering drinking water, cooking back-country style, and building campfires around which memories will be made.
