DESCRIPTION:

Experience a new adventure by hiking at night. This beginner 4-mile round trip tour is more than gazing at the night sky. Enjoy the forest’s nocturnal charm with bats, katydids, and fireflies without the nuisances of city noise, crowds, and heat. Once participants reach a clearing in the forest, turn off the headlamps to watch the stars come out over the Tennessee Valley. Learn about the constellations, planets, and other astrological features you are viewing.
